“Un petit coin de paradis”
The guesthouse sits on Elephantine Island, a very quiet and pleasant village, reachable by a short ferry ride from Assouan for 10 EGP. The spot is amazing, right on the water, the perfect place to watch the sunset. You can eat or drink there at any time of day, and the lovely on‑site team easily gives advice or arranges motorboat or sailing trips. The room and bathroom were very simply equipped, just the basics; don’t expect more for the price (in my view, it’s excellent value for money).
