The accommodation was clean and pretty, but the host didn’t allow us to drop off our luggage when we arrived and forced us to pick a check‑in slot between 17:30 and 19:00 without saying he wouldn’t be there. We showed up at the agreed time thinking he’d be present, but he wasn’t, so we did the inventory on our own. If we’d known he wouldn’t be there, we’d have stayed longer at the beach and arrived later. Also, the listing didn’t mention that the property had shared common areas with other guests, something we’d have liked to know beforehand. On top of that, we experienced a power outage that left us without air conditioning, lights, and electricity for 12 hours during a heatwave, making the place very hot and uncomfortable. I sent messages to the host, but he didn’t reply right away and later seemed to lie by saying the whole city had the outage, even though we saw that neighbors and the mechanic across the street had power. Finally, he told me he had fixed the electricity and air conditioning during the day while we were away, yet the other couple in the second room said they found the electric meter and turned it back on themselves.
The atmosphere was good; nothing else to add.
The beds were comfortable and the owner was very welcoming, though parking was an issue.
