The reception was excellent throughout the stay. The hosts were super pleasant, attentive, breakfast was varied, and the room and facilities were kept very clean and well maintained. The atmosphere is cozy and full of beautiful stories that blend with the architecture of the city of Conservatória. The investment in accommodation was worth it thanks to the service, the products bought directly from the farm, and the knowledge about part of the history left by José Borges de Freitas Netto (the main Seresteiro), founder of the Serenata Museum. This has made Conservatória nationally known as the “City of Serenades.” Today it is also known as the city of off‑season Carnival. In the main square there’s a statue in his honor. We were pleased and privileged to meet the daughter of the city’s most famous Seresteiro, who is also the host of the beautiful Pousada Hortência. Thank you for everything! No complaints.

The inn was clean, organized, and nicely decorated, and it’s within walking distance of the center. Mariza and her companion were very attentive. The breakfast was tasty and plentiful. The inn is located on a hill, with parking below and above; because the center was full (old Carnival), we had to walk up and down, which was difficult for those with mobility issues.

“Voltaremos em breve”

The staff were warm and really looked after us, and the breakfast was fantastic. In the afternoon they offered free toast with coffee, which was a nice touch. Honestly, I can’t think of anything that was off‑putting.
