A wonderful little family hotel with incredibly warm owners who gave us great tips for Prague at check‑in. The breakfast is fantastic and leaves no desire unfulfilled. Despite being surrounded by residential blocks, it is pleasantly quiet and easily reachable by public transport with a short walk. Nothing really negative. You just have to know that the hotel is not directly in the centre and you have to walk a few steps to the stop, which didn’t bother us at all.

“When can we come back?”

This family‑run hotel feels like a little gem tucked among modern buildings, a bit off the centre of Prague but with an excellent metro and bus network that drops you straight into the city and even a local supermarket. We really enjoyed our stay. Our room, one of the smaller ones, was clean, quiet, and comfortably furnished with nice antique touches alongside modern conveniences. The staff were very welcoming, and we especially want to thank Miroslav for his great advice on using the metro (which was incredibly easy and efficient) and for recommending sights to see in the short time we had in Prague – we now REALLY wish we had stayed longer. He was also a genuinely nice person to talk to and added that personal touch often missing in larger hotels, something we truly appreciated. The breakfast was incredible, exactly as other guests have described, though I could never do it justice; my husband tried it too. We also dined in their restaurant at night and only have compliments for the staff, including Miroslav’s mother; the food and service were exceptional. It’s clear why the restaurant is fully booked and very busy every night. Absolutely nothing negative.

We stayed at Hotel Svatojánský Dvůr from 08.10 to 11.10 and felt completely comfortable. The room was very nice and well‑maintained, and the breakfast was excellent. Everything was always fresh and there was nothing to complain about. The family character of the hotel is especially noteworthy; you can feel it’s a small family hotel where hospitality is still a priority. All staff were very friendly, attentive, and courteous. Another big plus is the location: the metro station is only about five minutes on foot, making it easy to explore Prague without a car. We also found the parking fees at the hotel absolutely reasonable, especially compared to the often much higher parking costs in and around Prague. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can recommend the hotel without reservation. Thank you for the lovely time; we’ll definitely come back!
