The hotel is a draw for the beach, the scenery, and the ocean view. Breakfast is sparse, but you can order better dishes for an extra fee. The three‑bedroom villas line the fence, behind which is construction; from 7 to 17 sometimes the noise is intense, but by September the villas should be finished and the finishing work is underway. The villas are good, Balian style; we stayed in villa 30, with a pool in the shade and a glass‑covered living room with AC. The restaurant is good; I liked the kids’ menu, everything was tasty, and they bake a delicious pizza in the oven. The spa is expensive and not wow—two weak massage therapists, price 1.35 million; the villa came for 250 k and the kids liked it. The personal assistant was very attentive. For silence, privacy, and calm for kids, I recommend the Water Cooler; the kitchen is full‑service, everything’s there. I suggest the Sidewalk supermarket—wine, fruit, ready food, many cafés, a 20‑minute bike ride away, but everything is fresh and inexpensive. There’s a large, good Japanese restaurant and a steakhouse there too.
