Forest Lodge in St Lucia offers a pool and free Wi‑Fi. Rooms feature air‑conditioning, TV, refrigerator, private bathroom with hairdryer and toiletries, garden views, patio and minibar. Guests can join game drives to Hluhluwe‑Umfolozi Park, day trips to Cape Vidal, and on‑site activities such as cycling, horse riding and snorkeling. Shared lounge includes TV, ironing and laundry services.

Saint Lucia is a tiny country, so the hotel sits conveniently 5 minutes by car from the center and 15 minutes on foot; reaching the beaches and the estuary also takes about 5 minutes by car. There’s private parking. The room is spacious, and the bathroom is equally roomy. Breakfast is a buffet and really varied. Outside, there’s a nice area with loungers and an outdoor pool that we didn’t use because of the season. They help with boat‑cruise bookings and give maps and info about the country. The only downside is the cleaning – the rooms felt a bit dated and could use a refresh.

Breakfast was amazing, but we had to pay for ironing. It should be listed on the website so guests can decide whether to stay at Forest Lodge or look elsewhere.
