There was no air conditioning or fan in the room, and although the booking promised breakfast, lunch, and dinner, none of those were actually available on site.

The location was fine, yet the room was infested with cockroaches, the bed was sagging, and the linens smelled bad and hadn’t been changed since previous guests. When we asked for fresh sheets, the front desk told us to wait until morning because the cleaning staff only arrives then and they don’t have keys to the clean linen. The new sheets smelled a bit better the next day, but the quality was still the same—old, threadbare, and in the drawers. It felt like rooms weren’t cleaned at all, as dried tomato seeds lay on the floor. The plumbing was old, the shower base leaked, and there were no air conditioners. Also, there was only one hanger in the closet, so there was nowhere to hang clothes.

The location was a real highlight, but unfortunately, the room was a bit of a letdown. It was old and dirty, and to make matters worse, we discovered we had bed bugs at night. Still, the area made up for it.
