The staff were very polite. The toilet and shower are located in the hallway.
“Literally no hygiene, no empathy either”
Nothing to say. I could only point out more shortcomings than I write here. Everything, because the staff clearly didn’t care about the guests’ situation. We came to Jakarta because my aunt had passed away. The old guy who checked me in saw my son was really ill, offered another room that looked better, and after I said I wanted that room he said I’d have to pay more for it (which was the same price as a much better hotel in a much better location with better hygiene). So I didn’t upgrade and tried to see what would happen. I couldn’t sleep because it was dirty from the sheets, then I realized you couldn’t even call it a room—no way, it was a creaky mezzanine surrounded by gaps from used windows and doors, with no attempt to seal them, so you couldn’t call them rooms (I said rooms because the whole floor seemed built the same, I could see gaps on two doors next to me from inside my room and I could hear them clearly from where I tried to sleep). The fence of the mezzanine (our bed head) was only covered with a dirty sleeping curtain that attracted mosquitoes, under the bed was full of dead bugs, dust, maybe bat droppings and rats—hard to see because the light was really dark (maybe intentionally set that way so you wouldn’t see how dirty the room is). All this noise of flying bats in and out and squeaks all night didn’t help me sleep and kept waking my son while he was in the middle of a high fever trying to stay asleep. A sad and scary sleepless night made me book another hotel in the middle of the night (a proper hotel with good hygiene and everything at a price not far different from this place) and check out as soon as my son woke in the morning because I didn’t feel safe traveling in the middle of the night from this sort of location.
“Sangat Buruk”
NOT RECOMMENDED, VERY BAD. Service at the place was terrible, frightening, the toilet shared with other guests, no car parking, no soundproofing, we were not allowed to stay but our money was not refunded. Think again before booking this, I regret choosing it.
