It was the only room available in the area. No check‑in instructions were sent, I waited half an hour outside to gain access, there was no Wi‑Fi, the room was clean but the mattress was hard, and I was actually charged for a coffee when I left.

The staff were very friendly, and dinner was wonderful, although the restaurant is paid separately and deserves its own review. It’s ridiculously expensive for what it offers, there’s nothing around, it only makes sense if you’re doing a layover at Limerick Junction, and even then it’s more than 10 minutes from the station. The bathroom door kept falling, the toilet was wobbly… very poor.

The staff were wonderful. It was great to see everyone so busy and pleasant to each other while working; the room was clean. I had a poor sleep because of noise outside—unsure if it was fans or kitchen noise. I stayed in Room 1.
