Welcomed by a brother who happened to be there, then no trace of the owners. The only interactions I had were with two dogs. The shower had a clogged spray, the single bed mattress was deflated on one side and tended to make me fall to the side. The room was cold, so I had to wear a down jacket to sleep. For breakfast I found no one and had to manage on my own, even making coffee with the professional machine. I said goodbye to the dogs and left.

Coming to this place feels like being at home; the big welcome, I recommend it to everyone passing through this area.

My wife and I booked a double for one night. The room is set up in a basic way, the mattresses are good quality. The price is reasonable. What really makes a difference is the warm welcome from Stefano, the owner, and his mother Cleofe, an 82‑year‑old woman full of energy. She is the pastry chef who prepares biscuits, tarts and donuts for the morning breakfast! When we arrived Stefano was just pouring wine that he had made a couple of weeks earlier and immediately involved us with tastings and stories! The atmosphere was warm and family‑like from the start, we felt very comfortable. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Honestly, I didn’t like anything except the Labrador who welcomed us, which was fantastic. Starting with the disappointing rooms, uncomfortable mattresses, a dog that barked all night and kept us from sleeping, the location was far from everything, the welcome was zero, we didn’t even meet the lady’s son, and there was huge confusion with room assignments: we were seven, and I was told to give the best room to my 89‑year‑old friend, but he ended up in the attic. I also asked the owner’s son to book a table for us, but when we arrived the reservation hadn’t been made, so we were lucky to find an empty table. The bathroom towels weren’t sponge‑like, so imagine drying ourselves (the shower was working for me, but two of them didn’t provide water because the pipes were clogged with limescale). What else to say? Absolutely don’t go there or return; we hoped the morning would come early so we could leave as soon as possible.
