We were pleased that the staff had the heating on before we got there, which was a relief on a chilly day, and the bed turned out to be comfortable, but I did wish they had ice on hand.

The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, but the bathroom was only adequate, feeling cold and a bit outdated.

Everything was fine except that the AC unit didn’t heat up, so we spent the night and early morning in a pretty cold room.

The hotel was actually in Pemberton itself, yet the room was dirty, a power board was stuck on the back of the bed, and a manual antenna was wired to something.

The place was quiet and peaceful.
