“The Homestay is not worth the money”

Close to main road so easy for dive guide to pick me up. Love the outdoor shower which does seem.to.be a thing at a lot of these places. 1. Young chap called Rio asking me.for a tip nearly every time.he saw me. and not for even doing anything. 2. Pool was green on arrival due to a failed pump i believe. to three days before useable. 3. Mosquitos. Omg. i have never has mosquitos in Bali and i got bit to death. There was also a faint but steady whiff of sewage around the shower. 4. Breakfast was not great. 5. Not sure abiut the main resort. but thr 'homestay' bit i was in was 4 chalet style rooms squeezed in around the pool. No room to sit in the sun as it was such a small area. 6. Because it was 'packed in', and close to everything else. constfuction work in surrounding properties made nappong between dives impossible. 7. For me. definitely NOT worth the money

We had some water problems, so we stayed at the Ocean Sun Resort instead, which was really nice. Everything was clean and beautiful, and the staff were very friendly.

The coffee was amazing and the food was great, close to Liberty Wreck, and the rooms were clean; a bit noisy but that’s Bali, right?

“Comfortable with great coffee”

The accommodation was basic but clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The adjoining cafe was absolutely to die for – incredible food and even more incredible coffee. The location is great for central Tulamben; it’s a quiet town but this place sits right in the heart of it. The pool area is a bit smaller than expected from the photos, and the room facilities feel a little dated, though everything worked well.
