The hotel's proximity to local shops and its convenient location were definite pluses during my stay.
The staff were incredibly welcoming and the hotel was spotless.
My room was enormous, which was a definite plus.
The breakfast spread was fantastic, with a wide variety of fresh fruits, cheeses, cold cuts, warm pastries, and excellent coffee.

“So much potential but needs a total overhaul”
We appreciated the individual air‑con units once the exhaust pipe was connected to the window; the beds were very comfortable and overall the rooms were tidy, though our bathroom was worn and the shower in the second room didn’t work. The balcony offered stunning sunset and hot‑air‑balloon views. We had to stay here because the other hotel in Briey was fully booked and felt the place had regressed since opening. The outdoor terrace was unusable, the restaurant and bar were closed without prior notice, and check‑in was delayed until about 5 pm. We expected to arrive after a six‑hour drive, find the hotel locked and dark, and struggled to find someone who seemed unsure of our stay or the cost. Two rooms were shown to us, one of which looked like it hadn’t been fully prepared, possibly used the night before. We had to buy food at a local Lidl because the restaurant was ready for service yet closed, and bar service was impossible. Checking out required a phone call to get someone on the line so we could keep moving. The views are amazing and it sits on the edge of a pretty town, but the property feels run‑down and like the Mary Celeste.
“Horrible, plus jamais, malheureusement je ne peux pas mettre plus de photo.”
Everything was filthy—room, shower, toilet, carpet, desk, bed, linens, everything. A horrible odor filled the room, there was a lot of noise at night, and work started at 7 am right below my window.
The host was very friendly and warm, and the rustic, charming hotel was nice, but the room lacked shutters so daylight flooded in, and the insulation was poor.
The bed was very comfortable and spacious, the meal was excellent, the waiter was attentive, and we recommend it. The village is very friendly.
“Déçue”
The place was grimy and not very clean, and the photos didn't match reality.
