Glorious Villa

Good location, dreamy beach with many restaurants within a 5‑minute walk! The owners were very friendly and worked hard to make sure we were comfortable. The mother got up at 4 am to check that I was picked up by the taxi driver (she was on the way to a safari). You could also have your laundry done on site for a small extra fee! I had my own room with a bathroom. The bed was very comfortable with a mosquito net. The internet was sometimes better, sometimes worse.

“Echte aanraderl”

A great spot. Close to the beach in a beautiful old house set in a lovely garden with a sweet owner. Delicious breakfast. Highly recommended.

“Das Geld nicht wert”

Good question. It’s within limits. The location was fine. The beach wasn’t far and there are many restaurants. The city is 15‑20 minutes on foot. The woman was nice, but could barely speak English. The bed was clean and there was a mosquito net. The pictures of the property don’t match the current state. The pictures on Booking are very old. The shared areas and kitchen were very old (to put it diplomatically) and especially the floors and kitchen were not clean. The roof was leaking, so it rained into the “living room.” The back garden was a bit messy. The room was no better. The floor was very dirty. The bathroom the same. With the window you can choose between daylight and fresh air but also a lot of insects and mosquitoes, or a dark, stuffy room. Awful or miserable.
