The pool was nice with a great view, the house felt sweet and homely, and there were no neighbours. Some chairs and tables were in poor condition, and the road to the house is a bit tricky.

The altitude of about 800 m made the temperature feel much nicer than in places like Lucca or Pisa, with shady trees adding to the comfort. The pool was huge, spotless and roughly 1.40 m deep, so the water stayed pleasantly cool even in daylight, and the loungers were very comfortable. It was quiet, no noisy neighbours, just pure nature, and both the house and the pool offered stunning views. The property contains six bedrooms that can accommodate up to 12 guests, plus two passing‑through kitchens each equipped with a pull‑out sofa, while neither kitchen provides sleeping space. Getting to the place can be tricky because parts of the road are steep and unpaved, so not every car will manage the drive (we used all‑wheel‑drive wagons with over 115 hp and that was enough). The walk from the house to the pool feels long—about 200 m—and although the paths are stroller‑friendly, they are not suitable for wheelchairs because of the uneven, non‑asphalt surface and height differences. Occasionally small wild boars wander onto the access route as well.
