“beautiful, romantic hideaway, magnificent gardens, delicious restaurant”
The former villa turned into a place that shows meticulous care in every detail. From the gate to the exit, nothing feels excessive or overly beautiful. The staff goes the extra mile to ensure you have the best possible experience. The gardens are luxurious, with grand plants, flowers everywhere, olive trees, and a few charming golden fish in the fountain. The swimming pool is superb and very clean. The rooms are large and comfortable, equipped with AC, a coffee machine, tea, and a separate toilet. Mine also had a spa and a shower. The beds are very comfortable and the linens are pristine. Dinner was delivered to the room exactly as it would be served in the restaurant, prepared with great care and tasting amazing. We had a lobster and gnocchi dish – we’ll return just for that! Breakfast was a joy, generous, and served in beautiful china, either inside or outside as you prefer. The products and wine are local and of excellent quality. Everyone at the Bastide is kind, from the owners to the staff, all delightful, welcoming, helpful, and discreet. It’s a very romantic place. The only downside is the dark decor of my room, which is a matter of taste but does not diminish the beauty of the place.
