The location right in front of the temple is exceptional, the restaurant serves very good food, but the heavy use of aluminium and plastic foil for packing food is excessive for an eco hotel; breakfast could have included fresh local fruit or a fruit salad.

A fantastic stay with incredibly kind staff, delicious food, and stunning views of the Nile and surrounding islands – I’ll definitely return to Aswan and stay here again.

The view is fabulous, the hotel is very nice in an old Nubian village, the vibe is very zen, a wonderful spot to pause during sightseeing, and the meals overlooking Philae are great; the staff were friendly, we loved it, just one downside: the bedding is not good.
