The location is handy, close to all the main attractions, but the air‑conditioner kept dripping and the street parking felt unsafe—there were even incidents of vagrants smashing car windows. The house has several rooms, and when you’re not in a suite you have to share a bathroom outside the room; one of our rooms had the bathroom window of the neighboring room facing us, so the smell of urine constantly wafted in, which was unbearable.

“Agréable séjour pour budget modeste”

Even though our flight was delayed and we arrived very late, the host welcomed us with great kindness, a big smile and plenty of help with all our paperwork. The house sits right next to a stunning cathedral that’s definitely worth a look, and the room was spacious, the bed comfortable and the bathroom more than adequate. Considering the price was probably higher because of the COP30 period, we still think it’s a solid choice for travelers on a modest budget.
