The location was excellent. The day we checked out the restaurant was closed until 11.00 Saturday morning. For travelers this was not acceptable. I have been staying at your facilities for 20 plus years but at the prices you charge this will be the last time
“It’s like coming home…”
Arriving late and checking out early, I was greeted by a young lady on the phone who was very friendly and clearly explained the late check‑in process. The key and check‑in document were exactly where they should have been and easy to remove. The room was warm, lit and inviting, and this first day at the Sportsman Lodge already feels like “coming home.” I’m already looking forward to another day here in the future!

My cabin was cozy, warm, and rustic, with all the modern amenities I needed. The staff I interacted with were friendly, warm, and very helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable.
“Cabins need an upgrade, charging premium prices for sub par accommodations.”
The bar/restaurant staff were very friendly, the service was great, and the food was very good. The rooms urgently need an upgrade: replace the shower head, update the mattress and bedding, install air conditioning, and fix the broken front window that had a note saying “don’t open (fix it)”. Upgrade the TV to a smart TV, as most people have Netflix or similar accounts, add more USB charging ports, and provide more designated parking for paying guests; bar/restaurant patrons currently park wherever they want, making it hard to find spots for hotel guests.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel and appreciated everything it had to offer. The experience was so positive that I plan to make it a regular stop in the future.
