Located on a hillside in the Marche region, Agriturismo Segnavento is a renovated 1800s farmhouse surrounded by 12 hectares of vineyards and olive trees. It produces its own wine and oil. The hotel features rustic rooms and apartments with exposed wooden beams, flat-screen TVs, and private bathrooms. Guests enjoy regional cuisine, wine tastings, and cooking lessons, as well as a free bike rental service and proximity to Staffolo and the Frasassi Caves.

The surroundings are nice, but the listing mentions fans while the old two‑storey house has an uninsulated loft apartment; the ceiling looks good but the bricks under the tiles heat up from the morning through the day, so in mid‑August it feels like a furnace at 10 am—probably great in spring and autumn.

Ten euros for a single yogurt? Three yogurts cost thirty euros… the house offered one coffee, just one coffee 🤣. The place feels impersonal and cynical; the access road is a dirt track with deep ruts that wouldn’t meet any regulations, and the directions are vague. Overall the building is nice, the rooms cozy and clean, but there’s no menu with prices, nor a wine list with prices, so you’re ordering blind – be careful. Breakfast isn’t a buffet; a single yogurt costs fifteen euros (a skinny one bought after asking). Two yogurts and a peach ran me thirty euros, yet they only gave me one free coffee. Disappointing and unfriendly, typical of a place that wants to look hospitable without actually being welcoming. I can’t recommend it.
