We booked this one‑night stay because a travel guide suggested it, and after a day wandering the countryside it lived up to the hype. Check‑in was relaxed, with Chris, the owner, offering us fresh lemonade and chatting with us on a couch outside. The valley view from our room and from the wall‑side seating area was spectacular and worth every cent, a perfect spot to unwind in the afternoon and evening. The dining experience, however, was underwhelming; the menu was confusing, only one waiter attended all tables, so we didn’t get enough explanations, the food was bland, and we guessed the staff might have been short‑staffed. It’s not a deal‑breaker, but lower your expectations for the meals.

The staff were very friendly and gave good advice; the location is worth visiting. Sleeping together in a 140 cm bed is a detail for this section, but it doesn’t detract from the fact that the hotel is pleasant.
