The staff’s friendliness and willingness to help stood out. Unfortunately, there was no barrier‑free access to the hotel, no bookable parking garage, and the beds were uncomfortable. To shower, one had to climb into the bathtub, and room cleaning was only available upon request. The breakfast offered poor value for money, and of the two elevators, one was under repair; both are scheduled for replacement in the coming months.

We’re regulars who keep coming back because everything works well! One elevator was out of order, but the stairs were clearly marked, so that wasn’t an issue; the only inconvenience was moving luggage in and out during arrival and departure.

“Not in the heart of cologne, but fine if you don’t mind 15 minutes walk to cathedral etc. comfortable and stylish”

Spacious rooms, comfortable bed, coffee machine, view over river, plenty of places 10 mins walk away for breakfast and dinner. The lighting in the room wasn’t good. Design over function. No plug in sink.Expensive breakfast, smokers outside main entrance and lots of steps at entrance - very mobility unfriendly, only one lift working

“Nice staff, poor facility and hygiene”

I liked the location and how central it is, especially for one-two days trips, it's very close to many attractions and the area is very nice. The reception people are extremely nice people and they are helpful, smiling. The room is not clean, you can see yellowish colors in the corners of the rooms, entrance, and inside the kettle. Even though the bed looks clean but i doubt it after i saw insect getting out of the back if it (i guess it's called the silver insect) The first room we got after I saw multiple insects (no we didn't open any window or anything), I informed the reception and they changed the room with another one, similar issues of kettle hygiene, and the spoons next to it were not clean as well. The bed are not comfortable for me, i don't blame them on that maybe some people will find it comfortable but for me i used to H2-H3, it was not comfortable. One of the elevators are slow ( they actually apologize for this with a paper attached there) and the other one is out of service. The lobby was noisy a little bit for me during 8-9 PM, again not their fault maybe, but since the lobby design is open to all floors upwards, they might need to take care of such noises. Overall, I won't recommend it, nor come back to it
