“A comfortable hotel in the old town”

The hotel acknowledged its age and history without sacrificing comfort. Its location in the old town was very convenient for sightseeing and dining, and it was surprisingly quiet. The shower and Wi‑Fi worked fine, and breakfast was served in an old‑style room. However, the breakfast selection was the most limited among the five German hotels we stayed at, and the price was the highest. Unlike the others, they did offer various egg dishes cooked to order, but we didn’t want them.

The spot was spot on, smack in the middle of Old Town, and my room was spotless and cozy. Breakfast hit the spot, but I only tried it once because it felt a bit pricey for me. The only gripe was the thin walls and the neighbors next door always blasting their TV loud.

“Central location traditional hotel”

An old‑world hotel in a prime spot, with a fridge and TV in the room. The bathroom and shower were small but clean and handy. A bit of kitchen noise lingered after dinner. The bedroom being on two levels was cute but not the most convenient.

The location, the friendly staff, the pretty room with good mattresses, and the tasty food were all great. The only downside was that there was no way to make coffee or tea in the room—just a minor annoyance, honestly.

“Heidelberg beauty”

The hotel sat in the old town and was a short walk to the Neckar river. The on‑site restaurant was lovely, and the buffet breakfast was a real treat. The pillows and the stairs left something to be desired.
