A quirky shepherd’s hut – basic as expected for this type of place, yet very comfortable. The owners were fantastic, friendly and helpful. The shared kitchen area was great for tea, coffee and more.

“Cosy and rustic hut in a great location”

A small, cozy hut within walking distance of the sea! The host was great. If you need all the modern conveniences, this might not be for you, but if you’re okay with outdoor toilets and a shower, it’s perfect and met my needs wonderfully. I woke up to birdsong too!

I'm still trying to wrap my head around the fact that I was sold a non-existent property. The address they provided was fake, and the phone number was completely wrong. I'm not sure how they got away with this, but it's a huge red flag. Needless to say, I won't be booking with them again.

“Hen parties in St Anne's House - The owner does not tell you in advance”

The location of this place was perfect for a walk along the South West Coast Path, but unfortunately, that's where the positives end. I was surprised to find out that there was a hen party at the St Anne's House on the same site, and the noise was unbearable. To make matters worse, the owner didn't even bother to warn me about it before I arrived, so I had to get a taxi to another property in Plymouth.

“Overall, a very wholesome and peaceful getaway”

I was blown away by the owners' warmth and hospitality - they were genuinely happy to have us stay with them, and the breakfast they brought to our door was absolutely delicious. I'm not sure what else to say, because, honestly, everything was just perfect.
