“Niet comfortabel en niet schoon.”

I stayed in a comfortable, wide bed and the shower was good. The reception was friendly and there was a shop with its own liquor selection, plus you could buy a pastry and coffee in the afternoon. The place wasn’t clean; a strong sewage smell lingered throughout our stay and there was mouse droppings. The décor was very plain and simple, with no comfortable seating anywhere, no coffee maker, and very limited crockery. It was very noisy with the neighbors.

“Dejligt sted med fred og stilhed.”

The room was cozy and I got a nice one. There was a fridge, toaster, and coffee machine, and later I discovered a minibar. I brought my own half bottle of red wine. I also visited the little shop and bought a shirt. There was no milk for the coffee, and perhaps they could have had those triangular milk dispensers in the fridge.

“Meget meget specielt sted”

The place was very, very special—completely deserted, an old mini‑village that felt like stepping back 200 years. There was no TV, no shops, nothing.

The spot’s setting is one-of-a-kind, tucked into a charming little village, and the bed was super comfy. The apartment itself was pretty basic, and we struggled to get in—make sure you arrive when the owner is around.
