The worst thing that can happen on a holiday is bad staff, and that’s exactly what we experienced at Minko Baths. From the moment we arrived at reception, the tone was raised, they spoke to us in a condescending way and we didn’t understand why. That attitude continued at the bar near reception. The base is nice, but we would never visit the complex again because a pleasant stay is essential, and ours was not.

The breakfast buffet was tasty and had plenty of options, which I appreciated each morning. Unfortunately, the natural surroundings were pretty underwhelming – not much to look at or enjoy outside the hotel.

The rooms were spotless and the whole place has a sleek, modern vibe. On top of that, the facilities are solid and the spot is right where you want to be for getting around town.

The restaurant was a real disappointment – bland food and slow service made it a low point. Aside from that, the rest of the complex is fantastic, with great amenities and friendly staff.
