The five‑generation family‑run inn offers classically furnished rooms with private baths, TV, and some views of St. Hildegard Abbey. We liked our time at Krancher; breakfast was tasty, housekeeping excellent, and the lady at reception was always very friendly; it’s just a short walk to downtown and Drosselgasse, though parking was a bit tricky, which is normal in Germany.
