The dome turned out to be a health hazard – the fiberglass insulation was exposed all over the walls, so breathing it in was a real concern. We called the owner right away and were told to cancel for a full refund, but the cancellation never showed up on their end and they still charged us for the four‑night stay. It was a frustrating and unsafe experience overall.

The concept is clever, but the execution leaves a lot to be desired. You can hear traffic and trains constantly, the thermal insulation sticks out in places, and the upper‑level outlet only works when the bathroom fan is on. Those quirks made the stay less comfortable than expected.

The dome itself is a standout – sleek, spotless, and feels really modern. Unfortunately, it sits right next to a highway, so you get a steady stream of train and car noise that the property can’t really fix. It’s a trade‑off you have to accept.

The spot is perfect for exploring the area, and while the nearby highway adds a bit of background noise, it doesn’t ruin the experience. It would be nice to see a third hot tub added, and a heads‑up about the mosquitoes would help – a few cans of repellent inside the dome would go a long way. Otherwise, a solid stay.

The dome is a tidy, clean space with comfy beds and a unique vibe that would shine in winter with a wood‑burning stove and an outdoor hot tub. In summer, however, it sits right beside the Trans‑Canada Highway, so the noise was noticeable, and the interior shot up to 37 °C before cooling down later in the evening. We also misread the hot‑tub placement and found it too hot to use outside.
