Several broken tiles in the bathroom, the shower wasn't watertight and water ran onto the floor, the mixing tap was loose – the bathroom needs renovation.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive; it was truly not taken for granted.

The location was excellent, within walking distance to the Wendelstreinbahn and parking was in the courtyard. However, we hit over 30 °C and the windows had no sun protection except a curtain, making the room extremely hot. Overall the hotel is under renovation; the exterior is unkempt, the patio under the pavilions has cracked paving, and the pool area floorboards are loose.

“Hotel in Ordnung, Preis- Leistung nicht”

The rooms are generally fine and clean, but on the day we arrived we spent more than four hours trying to reach someone by phone for an urgent question, only to be met with endless automated messages and no answer. Breakfast was run by a single staff member, so we had to handle everything ourselves, including cooking eggs and bacon, and the reception was unmanned at checkout. For €191 per night for two people, I expected much more, and the price‑performance ratio simply didn’t work for us. To add insult to injury, reviews on Google were removed without any attempt at contact or clarification, which I found extremely unprofessional.
