The staff were friendly. I would have liked a renovation; the fireplace couldn’t be lit because the draft was so strong that the fire almost escaped the chimney 😂. The suite was too small for two of us.

Breakfast was good and the electric car could be charged nearby. In a hundred hotels (71 countries) I stayed in a twin room in Finland and, for the first time, encountered a shared mattress; they did replace it upon request. As an old gentleman, I refuse to sleep in a double bed with men, and if the mattress is shared, the beds can’t be separated at all.

The reception staff and housekeeping were friendly, and breakfast was good, but some of the Finnish breakfast items were stale.

Breakfast was good, but the room cleaning was awful – a crow’s droppings on the balcony for the entire stay and dust floating in the room.
