“Superb value in a great location”

The cabins sit amid lush jungle gardens in Baeza, halfway between Quito and Neuva Loja, making them very convenient for a trip to Cuyabeno. They’re also just a short walk to waterfalls and a birdwatching spot where we were lucky to hear the cock of the rock. The cabins are rustic yet very comfortable, and the shower was the best in all of Ecuador—hot and super powerful. The host Koos is lovely, and the nearby pizza restaurant serves superb freshly made pizzas that rival anything in Italy. We had secure off‑street parking for our motorcycles. Great value for money and highly recommended. Breakfast isn’t offered here, but we found Gina’s café across the road, which serves an excellent, hearty all‑day breakfast at a very good price and opens early.

The welcome was very warm! The room was very decent and quiet in a leafy, flower‑filled environment. The restaurant is also very good, highly recommended, with a beautiful view.

The staff were really warm and welcoming, the restaurant and accommodation were top class and the food was great - it felt like home from the start.

The bungalows are super comfy and set in a beautiful spot. The staff are really friendly, the food is great, and the breakfast is massive - we loved it! Everything about our stay was great, no complaints at all.

I arrived around 5 pm and was surprised to find no one at the reception desk. I had to wait over 30 minutes for someone to show up - I even tried calling but no one answered. Not the best start to our stay.
