“Dangerously balanced tv.”

There was a fridge. The TV fell off its shelf, which was only balanced on coasters, and hit the back of my head. Val didn’t ask if I was okay, seemed more concerned about removing the extension lead the TV was plugged into so it wouldn’t happen again, and then added another extension behind the bed to make it easier to charge my phone. I disliked the few plug sockets and the many extension leads. Val left the TV unsafely on coasters after it had already fallen. There were only a handful of hooks for clothes, and otherwise no storage.

“A perfect place to stay.”

Everything was perfect. Nothing to complain about.

There was no breakfast included; only tea and coffee making facilities and a small fridge were available. The location was just right—close enough to town to walk in and out without needing transport, yet far enough away to avoid most noise. A 10‑20 minute walk took me past the beach, a park, a train station and bus stops. The main road outside was sometimes noisy, and if I had used a car more during my stay it could have made access to the car park awkward.

“Friendly staff and slept really well xx”

The rooms were cosy, spotless, and big, and Val, the staff woman, was lovely and made my sleep the best I’ve had thanks to the comfy beds.
