There was parking for the car, and Diggers was right next door so I didn’t have to drive for a meal. The staff were a little frosty, and we had booked two beds but they only handed us the bedding at the door, so we had to pull out the sofa bed and set it up ourselves, which was not great when paying a good price.

The room and facilities were comfortable, though a fly screen for summer would be useful.

The room was huge, as was the balcony. The bed was comfortable and the curtains blocked light well. The room was quiet, had a cute kitchenette, and I could have had room service from Diggers next door. The Wi‑Fi was great. The spa bath got foamy when I tried to start it, so I didn’t use it. It didn’t affect the overall awesomeness, just a little disappointment.

The staff were friendly and attentive, the room was clean, and the location was excellent. The bed was very uncomfortable and the spa/shower was dangerous; the floor was slippery and hard to step on, so I slipped when I stepped out of the shower and got a big bruise on my leg (luckily it was only a bruise).
