“Einmal und nie wieder!”

It was simply a horrible hotel. The old elevator, narrow stair treads, and the carpet in the corridors were completely spotted. The room smelled extremely musty and the wall was damp; after one night our belongings were truly damp. We felt very uncomfortable, so we left two nights early instead of staying the full booking. The moisture and mold on the carpet were especially concerning. The way the supposedly “clean” linens, towels, and mattresses were stored seemed very questionable. The only bright spot was the relatively good bathroom. Whether the location is good or bad is up to each person. The hotel sits on a very lively street with many bars and restaurants, but when the window is closed you don’t notice much from outside.

I loved the room, but the tap and toilet seat were loose, and taking the lift felt like an intense adventure.

The rooms were nice and had everything you need, but there was a bit of noise. We slept on the street side.

The location is nice, but this was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. I’ve never seen a hotel this disgusting. We were assigned a room on the fourth floor, and inside it was a mosquito graveyard: dead mosquitoes on the walls and mosquito blood everywhere. There were holes in the bed sheets and stains that looked like human blood. The common areas were no better, with dirt and mosquitoes (both alive and dead) everywhere. We asked the staff if we could either get another room or a refund and leave. They offered us another room in the same terrible condition, so we decided to leave. The receptionist was verbally aggressive, basically telling us she didn’t care and that since we had already paid we could leave but wouldn’t get any money back. The room was so disgusting that we left anyway, even though we weren’t sure whether Booking would refund us. This is the first time anything like this has happened to me. I have never complained about a hotel before, even when the cleanliness wasn’t great, but this was worse than anything you could imagine. Please, just stay away from this place.
