“Friendly good vfm hotel in interesting area, but with one problem that must be sorted”

We liked the area, so the location was fine for us. Very good value for money and the staff were friendly. Unfortunately, on this (our third) stay there was a lot of noise at night from the next‑door restaurant’s ventilation system. If I were the owner, I would get this problem sorted IMMEDIATELY! We would only stay again if it has been fixed.

The hotel's central location made it easy to get around, but that's where the positives ended. I was really looking forward to a relaxing stay, but the service was glacial - it took ages to get any help, and when I did, it was like they were doing me a favour. To make matters worse, the room wasn't cleaned until late afternoon, which meant I had to ask them to come back and tidy up after I'd just got back from a long day out.

“Horrible!! Just somehow slept the night and ran away from there”

I'm still trying to wrap my head around the fact that I stayed in a place that was literally falling apart. The room was a disaster, with water leaking in from somewhere and making a mess. The whole property looked like it hadn't been maintained in years - it was a real eyesore. To make matters worse, the photos on the website made it look like a completely different place, which is basically a scam.
