The view and the terrace from the room were amazing, and their tea plantations added to the experience. All meals were top quality, generous portions, and reasonably priced—among the best I've had. The room was clean and spacious. The last 450 metres were tricky: the road was very narrow even for a tuk‑tuk, unpaved, and had uphill turns. Wi‑Fi was spotty, and the host didn’t speak English well.

Getting there was a tuk‑tuk ride followed by a short hike up the hill. The host drove us in his tuk‑tuk, and he and his son (I think it was his son) helped carry our luggage up the slope—quite a pleasant experience. The place itself was beautiful, comfortable, breathtaking, and the host’s hospitality was fantastic; we were very happy. We couldn’t lock the bathroom door from the inside until the end. When we mentioned it, the host came up IMMEDIATELY TO HELP US, but we still don’t understand why we couldn’t lock it while he could. Hahahah, but that’s fine.

The location is idyllic with stunning views—literally living in a tea plantation. A very good breakfast each morning guarantees rest. The hosts were super friendly, and we could park our car at their house without any hassle. We’d definitely come back! In the afternoon the room gets pretty hot (not at night when the temperature drops and you can sleep like a movie), and you have a fan, but you don’t spend much time in the room anyway. Having air conditioning would make it much more pleasant. We stayed two days; on the second day we wanted to rest in the afternoon but chose to go to a café because of the heat we endured that day after arriving, despite the fan.

We loved the overall vibe, the host, the hospitality, the room, the view, and the breakfast—literally everything was perfect. The entry to the place could have been marked better, as it was a bit dangerous at night.

This was the best stay we’ve had so far in Sri Lanka. The view is amazing, the breakfast is complete, and the hosts are really kind. I would definitely recommend it.
