“A very comfortable hospitable stay”

The staff were really helpful and went out of their way to assist us, especially by providing an evening meal. The room was good and the garden was nice.

A lucky find with great facilities and a beautiful garden. The staff were friendly and the location was convenient for us.

The hosts were very attentive and waited for us even after 9 pm. Breakfast was tasty in a beautiful courtyard, the bathroom was tidy with a window screen, blinds, and a railing outside the window. In the hallway there was a tea station with mint tea (though the selection was cheap and there was no coffee). Cups were not visible; they were in a cupboard near the floor. The place was very clean, the mattresses were comfortable and we slept well. The courtyard was fairly large and the yard was full of plants, flowers, and shade. The only odd thing was the room layout: to get water you have to go down three steps or walk to the bathroom or shower, and the shower door lets in sounds from the toilet or shower. The hallway was saturated with perfume. My expectation was a historically authentic setting in a Lithuanian‑style building, and while it was very clean and tidy, it was not authentic. We stayed in a fully modern building with a courtyard, but not in a “school” setting.
