The room’s spot was gorgeous, overlooking the mountains and just a stone’s throw from the city centre, yet it stayed away from the bustle. The breakfast spread was huge. The downside was that during our stay a nearby ski school had a bunch of kids making a lot of noise early in the morning.

Free parking in the city centre was a plus. I strongly advise against using Hotiday because the intermediary service was terrible. If you book directly with the hotel, different rates will apply.

The room had a lovely mountain style and felt cozy, though the window was sealed shut. The buffet breakfast and dinner were disappointing, offering scant, low‑quality food; the tiny brioches tasted like something from a two‑star peripheral hotel, not a 4‑star property, and paying €35 for dinner that was essentially leftover lunch was absurd. It’s misleading that the website lists a spa as part of the amenities when it’s actually off‑site and charged separately – that should be clarified. We booked specifically for the pool and other facilities, only to discover they aren’t even on the premises. We won’t return; the services fall short of 4‑star standards and the front‑desk staff weren’t particularly warm when we arrived.

The location, cleanliness, and breakfast were all great, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The downside was the lack of soundproofing; an English school group was in the building, and the kids were shouting and running around, as if they were in the room.

Overall it was decent. The problem was a school group causing a huge mess, and during breakfast a staff member chased me to ask for my room number, perhaps because he was in work clothes while other colleagues didn’t ask.
