“Juste PARFAIT !!”

A perfect spot just a few rowing strokes from the historic center or a short bike ride away (bike provided by the hotel). The place is quiet and relaxing, just what you want in tourist‑heavy Luang Prabang. The room was spotless, roomy, and peaceful. Vivan and Dave welcomed us so warmly it felt like home, handling everything with great efficiency and a constant smile. Want a scooter? It’s delivered right there. Need a taxi? The driver shows up on time, friendly and fluent in English. Ask any question or for a place to visit and they’re on it, making sure you feel on vacation. Absolutely a must‑visit address!

“Une guest house confortable au bord de l’eau”

We spent 3 nights at Ban Vivanh Guest House. The rooms are large, clean, and have a balcony overlooking the river. The lakeside terrace lets you sip tea or coffee, read, or simply unwind after a day exploring Luang Prabang. The welcome was very warm and attentive, with helpful restaurant and café recommendations. The house is a bit out of the city center; you need to take a boat (10 000 kip per trip per person) to get to downtown Luang Prabang. It’s also somewhat noisy; you can hear the neighboring room and the road not far away.

A gorgeous gem, tucked away from the bustle on the other side of the river. The hosts are super friendly, the room and common areas are spotless. Highly recommend! Plenty of adorable cats! Getting to the other side is easy by boat or a walk.
