The owners are excellent hosts, and the food and imported beers were exceptional.

We chose the room because of the charming country pub next door, but on arrival we learned the pub is closed on Wednesdays, forcing us to drive half an hour away for dinner. We made that trip, then booked other lodging there to avoid driving back to the room.

The accommodation was spotless, cozy, and warm thanks to electric blankets and a heater that kept the winter chill at bay. Bernhard and Sharon were incredible hosts. I highly recommend the hotel dinner, especially the Apple strudel, and finishing with a few schnapps by the fire is a must. I’ll definitely return.
