The host himself gave us a very warm welcome and walked us through the entire property. The setting is beautiful, the staff treat guests wonderfully, and the kitchen is fantastic.

The historic building is interesting, the staff are great, the breakfast is good, and the evening restaurant is nice. It feels relaxed and I highly recommend it. The building and landscaping have a “rustic charm” and look like a work in progress, so don’t expect manicured lawns, but that was the vibe I really enjoyed.

“Uma estadia maravilhosa e cheia de história!”

We were a mother and daughters. We were very pleased with our stay at Quinta de Santa Bárbara. From the very first moment we were greeted with great friendliness by Marcus, the host, who was always extremely attentive and available, making us feel truly at home. The estate is a very welcoming space, with a special atmosphere and a huge historical richness. The pool is simply wonderful and was, without a doubt, one of the highlights of our stay—perfect for relaxing and enjoying the space. The breakfast also deserves mention: very family‑style, prepared with care and quite varied, with options for different tastes. It was a very pleasant experience, in a place with personality where you genuinely feel the hospitality. We recommend without hesitation and hope to return! ❤️

“Geweldig, Marcos maakt het verblijf buitengewoon”

The manager Marcos has a laid‑back attitude. He just started and handles everything himself. I’ve rarely met such an involved host; no question is too big. Great. The room does not have a coffee maker.
