The room had a spacious terrace, the breakfast was varied and well cooked, and I highly recommend it. Nothing was wrong; everything was perfect.

The João Sol inn is in an excellent location. Breakfast is very good, with many options of typical Bahian dishes, all very tasty. The inn is very pretty, everything very clean, well decorated, a truly pleasant environment, plus the friendliness of the reception girls. The room acoustics are terrible. There’s no isolation at all, so you hear every possible sound during the day and night. The inn has no parking, which is a major issue; those driving have to try to find a street spot and negotiate (very high prices) with local parking attendants who take advantage of tourists to hold spots and charge high fees for street parking.
