The room was full of mouse droppings and dead insects of all kinds, no sheets on the duvet and also droppings on it; the pillowcases were yellow/brown, there was a strong damp smell, and the bathrooms were unusable because they hadn't been cleaned in ages, giving the impression it was abandoned. The lady still offered to clean the room before we settled in, but cleaning is a big word; we stayed only because we had no other options.
