The castle had a strong character, was in a quiet spot, and the beds were good. The on‑site dining and breakfast were nice, and the guarded parking was helpful. We spent the first and last nights of our motorcycle trip there and were able to leave the car with a trailer parked in the meantime—thanks again for that. Some of the carpets in the public corridors look a bit old.

Dinner closed at 20.30, which felt like a limit. At 21.00 they couldn’t give me anything to eat.

What we really liked: the location, the park, the view from the room, the welcome, the room itself, the calm… a stay that matched our expectations perfectly. The only small drawback: the breakfast could be better; fresh fruit and especially bread— the hotel should offer quality bread in sufficient quantity.
