The place is right in the middle of everything—just a short walk to Qilou old town and surrounded by plenty of eateries and shops. The room was decent and the bed was fine enough for a night’s sleep. Unfortunately the hotel itself feels a bit rundown, the breakfast isn’t appealing and the bathroom had a noticeable odor.

Staff were really friendly and the location couldn’t be better. We got a spacious room with a wide bed, which was comfortable. The only downside was that there was no soap provided in the bathroom.

Xiaofang at the front desk was polite and helpful, making the check‑in process smooth. Overall, the service at reception was solid.

I liked the location—it was convenient for getting around. The room, however, was chilly, the hallway constantly smelled of tobacco, and the breakfast was terrible. To make matters worse, the room had a sewage odor and I even spotted a cockroach once.

The hotel’s location is spot‑on and the price—260 yuan at the front desk—is hard to beat, with staff being reasonably helpful. The building is old, there are no balconies, and guests tend to smoke in the corridors and even inside rooms. I’d skip the breakfast here and head to a nearby café instead.
