Breakfast was decent – a good spread to start the day – but the beds left something to be desired. The mattress is too soft and could use a firmer top layer for a better night’s sleep. Otherwise, the room was clean and functional.

The owners are incredibly warm and always on hand to answer any question or grant a request, no matter how small. Their personal touch made the stay feel special, and I’d gladly return whenever I’m in town. It’s rare to find hosts that go that far.

For a ski trip this place hits most of the right notes: it’s right by the lift, has a spacious ski storage room, and serves a hearty breakfast with a fridge stocked with drinks. The rooms are simply furnished but well kept, and the owners stepped in quickly when other guests were noisy, restoring a quiet night after the first sleepless one. Overall, a solid base for hitting the slopes despite the occasional sound issue.
