Seeing the giraffes in the “garden” was a highlight! The tent was very well equipped, clean, and welcoming. Getting there was a bit tricky, though.

The pool and barbecue were nice, but in winter nothing felt appealing. Our room was one of the last ones, so we waited a while – it took 15 minutes by car to reach the gravel road full of potholes. When you arrive, the place looks lovely but the mosquito nets are all torn (a beetle got in). It’s not winter‑ready; the shower and bathroom are outdoors, so you freeze. I think the price is a bit high for winter.

Can’t say enough about Corkwood camp, it’s an amazing place!! We could have happily stayed here forever! Comfy bed, everything in kitchen we needed. We sat on the chairs outside and watched the nyala and vervet monkeys, loved it!! We have stayed in over 25+ places on our long holiday and this is in top 3!!. Nothing
