The owner met us for an early check‑in, which we appreciated, and the whole check‑in/check‑out process was smooth.

The pub served good meals and the buffet had plenty of veggies, and the bed was comfy, but the shower was filthy—thick black mould 8 inches up the wall, grime around the base, the fridge shelves were rusty, and the rooms felt old and tired.

The restaurant was good, but everything else fell short.

Convenient location.

The publican was friendly, but the restaurant staff weren’t especially approachable; a single night was fine, but the room was run down and dirty.
