We asked for a sea‑view room and it delivered, the pools were clean and spacious, and the room itself was comfortable and tidy. The beach was just across the street, the area is nice (though not for swimming) and offers plenty of food options, while the hotel staff were very attentive. Unfortunately the lift was out of order for the entire five‑day stay, we had to report a faulty shower drain, and getting to Punta Zicatela or the famous bays required a car; there isn’t much to do nearby without one, and the hotel’s own dining choices were few and limited in hours.
