Nothing at all! When I arrived the place was empty, no one around. No heads‑up about a possible cancellation or anything like that. It looked like it had been inactive for a while, with everything dust‑covered.

The value was good, but there was a hole in the shower where an exposed electrical wire was left uncovered.

The property matches the description and the staff are very welcoming. You can book the Ha Long Bay boat tour directly through the hotel, though it’s a bit out of town.

Everything was perfect. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was spotless, and breakfast was great too—we’d recommend staying here.
